JPI is currently seeking an innovative, meticulous, and communicative Business Analyst to join our team. This position will be providing project management and process development support to our client at the United States Coast Guard (USCG). Job Responsibilities:
- Executing day-to-day operations
- Gathering data and preparing assessments
- Managing operational details during meetings and reviews
- Facilitating meetings with stakeholders, maintaining rosters and repositories, and providing coordination support to a monthly advisory council meeting
- Documenting and updating process workflows and supporting other process development as required
- Performing PowerApps and Power Automate maintenance, as necessary
- Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats including presenting to senior leadership, developing lasting relationships, delivering clear requests for information, and communicating potential conflicts
- Identifying and addressing client needs: building strong relationships with clients; communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks.
- As a team member, understanding personal and team roles; contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members; proactively seeking and providing guidance, clarification and, feedback to less experienced staff.
- General consultant support to include project management tasks, meeting facilitation, and ad hoc duties as needed
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, and/or design of information systems programs and related business processes
- Experience working with phase-based and Agile delivery methods
- Experience with Jira or other Agile tools
- Experience with SharePoint, PowerApps, and Power Automate
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
- Must be able to work well both in a team environment and independently.
- Must possess exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with government projects and policy/procedures teams
- Demonstrates ability to interact comfortably with Senior Leadership and/or Government Executives and staff on a day-to-day basis
- Experience in managing client requirements and small teams
- Excellent analytical skills and business presentation skills
